Kevin Roose is a journalist who covers artificial intelligence and the technology industry. He is known for thoughtful, nuanced, and accessible coverage of AI and its implications for society.

He is the co-host, with Casey Newton, of Machine Gods, "the official podcast of the Singularity," a weekly show about AI produced in partnership with NPR (https://machinegods.fm).

He was previously a technology columnist at The New York Times for about a decade, where he co-created and co-hosted Hard Fork, one of the most popular technology podcasts, with Casey Newton.
